DETMER -- Richard C Detmer went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 18, 2006. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Melissa Sue Foster and his son, Mark Richard Detmer. He is sorely missed by his wife, Ruth; his daughters, Lisa Foster and husband, Bob, Jill Detmer, Joyce Lesperance and husband, Larry; and son, Todd Detmer and wife, Brenda. He was blessed with six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was the former owner of Sparetime Ltd. Flowers and Dick Detmers Designs in Silk. His passion in life was for the Lord Jesus Christ and ministry to inmates. He was ever appreciative of the beauty and grandeur of God's creation. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2006, at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro NE, (one block East of I-25, and one block North on Alameda) followed by a gathering at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper Dr. NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87111 All are welcome.
