Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Gawin. She is survived by her son, Butch Gawin of Albuquerque, NM; her daughter, Gail Harris of Las Vegas, NV; her granddaughter, Jennifer Marshall of Las Vegas, NV; her grandson, John Harris of Dallas, TX; her sister, Theresa Allori, of Chicago, IL; and her beloved dog, Sparky. Gladys was a skilled fisherwoman, a lifelong devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs, and a crossword puzzle enthusiast. A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Paul Church, 22nd Place and Hoyne Avenue in Chicago.
