ACOSTA -- Javier W. Acosta, age 52, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, August 14, 2006. He was born in San Pedro, CA, March 8, 1954 to William and Librada Acosta. Mr. Acosta was preceded in death by his parents; and his nephew, Bryan Garcia. He is survived by his ex-wife, Manuela Acosta; two children, Nora Acosta and Gerald Acosta; one grandchild who loved him very much, Jasmine Acosta; one sister, Barbara Marcotte and husband Stan; one brother, Leonard Acosta and wife Alicia; three nephews, Michael Garcia and wife Misty, Leonard and Nabor Acosta; one niece, Angelique Acosta; one great nephew, Bryan Garcia; numerous uncles, aunts cousins and friends who loved and will miss him. To Javier; We guess it was time for our Dear Lord to call you away to a place where you want to stay, to a final place. It has to be good to finally get away. It is all good because God is the only one who understood. He said it's time you'll see things will be just fine. You're the lucky one, all life's pain is finally gone, it's the place where you will be safe and know you belong. Javier was cremated on Thursday, August 31, 2006. His ashes will be given to Jasmine Acosta. A Memorial Service will be held at Eagle Rock Church, 7518 Oakland Ave. NE., on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW. ABQ. 505-343-8008
