WRIGHT DE CHAVEZ -- Edwina Wright de Chavez, 56, has lost her battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her husband, Rudy; daughters, Theresa, Lisa, and Geneva; step-son, Thomas; grandchildren, Roger Jr., Jasmine, Gabriella, Andrew, Denzel, Romain, Kyrrah, and Amanda; her parents, Lorenzo and Rose Wright; brothers and sisters, Ervin, Raymond, Liz, Joseph, and Cassandra; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding her in death were her brothers, Clarence and Steve Wright. Special thanks to the Vista Care staff for their assistance and her niece, JoAnn Esquibel, who took care of her. Visitation for Edwina will be Wednesday evening after 6:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 14th and Coal SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. As per Edwina's wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vista Care, 5639 Jefferson NE, 87109. Cremation will take place at a later date.
