PERRIN -- NORMAN ELWOOD It is with deep sorrow that the Perrin family announces the passing of Norman Elwood Perrin on July 24, 2006. He was born in Richmond, VA, October 22, 1931, and was a resident of Albuquerque since 1962. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Young Perrin, who he was married to for 47 years. Norman is survived by his four devoted children: sons, Rocky and wife, Kim, Jimmy, Jeff, daughter, Mary and husband, David Young; grandchildren, Erik Perrin, David, and Kaitlin Young, all of Albuquerque. He was a diesel mechanic for Mack Trucks in Albuquerque, NM where he later became self employed with his son, Jimmy. Family was very important to him and he helped to support them throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing in NM, had a passion for gardening, and was an avid NASCAR fan. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Lowe, Dr. David Hartson, and the supportive staff at Presbyterian Hospital for their loving care. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Aspen Funeral Alternatives, 1935 Juan Tabo NE, on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. (323-9000). In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made at any Wells Fargo Bank. Please make checks payable to "Mary Young benefit of Norman Perrin".
