ARMIJO -- Gerald A. Armijo "Jerry" age 45, passed away at home, Thursday, June 22, 2006. He was born in Roswell, NM, served in the US Army and was a longtime resident of Albuquerque. Jerry worked for Albuquerque Public Schools and was an avid musician. Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carlos and Maria Lovato and Alfredo and Manuelita Armijo. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Armijo; children, Antonio Armijo, Yolanda Armijo and Vibiana Armijo; parents, Orlando and Flora Armijo; sisters, Patricia Armijo, Catherine Armijo and Lisa Armijo; godchildren, Bernadette Mendez and Alex "Tito" Garcia; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Orlando Ogelsbee, Ryan Rodriguez, Matthew Lovato, Chris Padilla, Mike Gonzales and Jessica Lovato.
