GRIEGO ARNOLD -- Barbara Ann Griego Arnold, daughter of Roy and Maria Griego (both deceased); "Bobby" was a native of Albuquerque. She attended Sacred Heart School and St. Vincent's Academy before enrolling in the convent of the Sisters of Charity. After leaving the order, she began teaching elementary school in Chicago where she met and married fellow teacher Angelo Arnold of Chicago. Bobby and Angelo were blessed with 35 years of marriage and three daughters: Angela (Matt) Reed, Maria, and Christina. Beside her husband and daughters she is also survived by sisters, Margaret (Carl) Hime, Judy (James) Contino, and Elizabeth (Lloyd) Powell; and brothers, Michael, Robert (Rachel), and Anthony (Vivian); as well as a large extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bobby and her family loved New Mexico and spent their summer vacations here. She will be remembered and missed for her laughter, sense of humor, and love of life. Life Celebration Mass for Bobby will be held on Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (4th and Stover SW) at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
