TELLEZ -- Placido Tellez was born June 4, 1944. He passed away Thursday, June 15, 2006. Placido was preceded in death by his mother, Delfinia Garcia and step-father, Poncho Garcia; sister, Helen Gurule; brothers, Joe and Eloy Tellez. He is survived by one sister, Hermancita Lerma who resides in Tucson, AZ; a daughter, Mary Lee and grandchildren; as well as his good friend, Katie. Placido was a three generation uncle to Mary and Michael Apodaca, Sandra Aviles, Henry Gurule Jr., Patsy Lucero, JoAnn Vigil, and many more nieces and nephews. Placido has gone home to be with the Lord and he will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho 3906 19th Ave. SE (Across from Intel) in Rio Rancho, NM, on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW, ABQ. 505-343-8008
