BRINKLEY -- Alice McFadden Brinkley was born on September 23, 1924 in Detroit, MI and passed away on Friday, April 28, 2006 (her nephew Dan's birthday). She met and married a sergeant in the U.S. Army, Tom A. Brinkley, on March 29, 1947. He preceded her in death on October 14, 1985. She is survived by two sisters, Annie McFadden and Catherine Sumerville; brother, Bill McFadden; three sisters-in-law, Marie Bosshart and husband, Rex, Lettie Braudt, and Vay Walker; one brother-in-law, Pat Brinkley and wife, Dorothy; many nieces and nephews; as well as great-nieces and great-nephews; she loved them all. Alice worked at Sandia National Labs for over 25 years and had a multitude of friends both in Michigan and New Mexico who are left to grieve her passing. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, May 11, 2006, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Interment of cremated remains will be with her husband, Tom following the Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
