BOYER -- Ronald Lee Boyer passed away April 14, 2006 in Huntington Beach, CA, following a short illness. Ron was born August 11, 1937 in Taos, NM and graduated from Taos High School in 1955. Following four years in the U.S. Navy, Ron began a 45-year career in personal and professional finance. Ron was the life of the party whose personality filled every room he was in. His laugh was quick and infectious, and he was a prolific storyteller and teaser - few people escaped Ron's sharp wit, or his twinkling blue eyes. Ron was preceded in death by his younger sister, Sheryl; father, Jack; mother, Mildred; and step-mother, Dorris. He is survived by his beloved wife, Melody; brother, Jeff; children; Kelli Boyer, Greg Boyer, Michelle Davenport, Shelly Boyer, and Sharron Casados; and seven grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Water of Life Church, Fontana, CA, at 1:30 p.m., Monday, May 1, 2006, with a reception to follow at Upland Hills Country Club, Upland, CA. In lieu of flowers, Ron's family has asked that donations be made to Special Olympics New Mexico, 6600 Palomas NE, Suite 207, Albuquerque, NM, 87109, in honor of his sister, Sheryl.
