MONTANO -- Connie Padilla Montano, born March 30, 1926, in Quemado, NM, passed away April 9, 2006, peacefully, surrounded by her family. Connie is survived by her husband of 59 years, Henry B. Montano; her children, Fedelena Tautfest, Lonnie and Vera Wilson, Dale and Gloria Cornell, Sammy Montano, Ruben and Rosalie Fragosa, and Sylvie Semeraro; her grandchildren, Steven Wilson, Tom and Tracy Brown, Christine Cornell, Connie Cornell, Nicholas Montano, Skyler Montano, Sammi Montano, Stephanie Lyle, and Amanda Fragosa; her great-grandchildren, Clinton Cornell-McGimpsey, Christopher Cornell, and Carmen Rose Montano; and her sisters, Marian Temer and Onesima Montoya. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Anthony Montano. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Connie will be missed by her family and friends. But, we find comfort that she is with our Lord Jesus Christ, her grandson, Anthony Montano, her sisters and other family who have gone before her. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, April 11, 2006, 7:30 p.m., and Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Wednesday, April 12, 2006, 10:00 a.m., all at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Quemado, NM.
