BOWLIN -- Jacqueline "Jackie" Bowlin died today, Wednesday, April 5, 2006, in her home after a long illness. She was surrounded by lots of loving family. Jackie was born in Clayton, NM and lived most of her life in the North Valley of Albuquerque. Where she and husband, Bill raised six children and enjoyed a long career in the bakery department of Smith's Grocery Store. She is survived by her sister, Alice Dugger of Bloomfield, NM; children, Jack Tidwell of Texas, Darla Carrillo, Mary Orosco, Vickie Rock, Sam Bowlin, and Billie Jo Houvener, all of Albuquerque; step-daughter, Debbie Garrett of Arizona; 15 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. Jackie worked hard her whole life, always putting others first. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved each of them dearly. Jackie enjoyed bird watching, baseball, hot air balloons, fishing, and camping. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, 2:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel on Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
