VADNAIS -- Thomas "Squatty" Richard Vadnais, 55, passed away unexpectedly March 21, 2006. A resident of Rio Rancho since 1986, Squatty was an avid outdoorsman and Green Bay Packers fan. Born June 3, 1950 in St. Paul, MN, he is the son of Richard Vadnais and Nadine LaVonne Higley Vadnais. He served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah "Chick" Roghair; his father, Richard; and his brother, Terry Vadnais; and his grandparents, Walter and Dorothy Higley and Edward and Loretta Vadnais. He is survived by: his son, Anthony Vadnais; his brothers, Randy Vadnais and wife, Laura and Scott Vadnais and wife, Diane, all of Fond du Lac, WI; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service with military honors will be Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. at Vista Verde Mortuary Chapel, 4310 Sara Rd. in Rio Rancho.
