MONTOYA -- Frances Dolores "Franny" Montoya, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died suddenly on March 22, 2006. She was born March 9, 1943 and attended Saint Mary's School where she graduated in May 1961. She went to work for PNM at the age of 18 and retired in March 2005. Franny is survived by her parents, Carmen and Antonio Montoya of Albuquerque; close longtime companion, Charles "Chuck" Savage; brother, Richard Montoya and wife, Frances of Mill Creek, WA; nephews, Michael Montoya of Salt Lake City, Steven Montoya and his wife, Denise of Snohomish, WA; two great-nieces; and two great-nephews. She was preceded in death by a nephew, David of Dallas, TX. Rosary services will be 7:00 p.m. Monday March 27, 2006 at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday March 28, 2006 at Gate of Heaven Chapel on Paseo Del Norte and Wyoming. Inurnment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
