PEREA -- Beatrice Beatrice (Aunt Betty) Perea, second born daughter of Anastacio and Julianita Perea, passed away on February 15, 2006 of complications from pneumonia. She was born on September 21, 1907 in Valencia, NM. She was baptized a Seventh Day Adventist with other members of her family around 1933 and quickly adopted the health message as her way of life, resulting in excellent health for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Delia and Raquel, who died in childhood. Her sisters, Juanita Laumbach, Lola Bartlett and Faustina Vigil; her brothers Ferminio, Gabriel, and Robert. She is survived by her brother, Joe and wife Merlinda; and sister-in-law Louisa; many nieces and nephews; and some cousins. She was like a second Mother to Juanita's three children, Nancy, Jean, and Chester, who loved her dearly. We have the blessed hope of seeing her again, when Jesus comes. She is resting in Sunset Memorial Park, waiting for the sound of the trumpet. Sincerely, Nancy Ruth Boyd.
