SILVA -- Joseph "Joe" Phillip Silva, 35, was taken away so soon and unexpectedly February 16, 2006. Mr. Silva, beloved husband, father, and son is survived by his wife, Sandra K. Silva; daughter, Brianna M. C. Silva; brother, Richard R. Silva II; stepson, Louie M. Romero; mother, Mary M. Silva and husband, Michael; father, Richard Silva and wife, Maryann; many nieces and nephews; stepbrothers and sisters; sisters-in-law, Shelly, Pamela, and Trish Romero. Joe was a highly decorated combat Veteran of Desert Storm and received the Bronze Star. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's on the Rio Grand. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, February, 23, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs on the Rio Grand with full military Honors. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A Reception will be held at St. Clair's Hall at the Arch Diocese of Santa Fe on St. Joseph's Dr. Honorary pallbearers will be Trish Romero and Joseph "Joe 2" Chavez.
