DARROW -- Ann W. Darrow born October 18, 1923 in Waco, Texas, and a resident of Albuquerque for sixty years died on Friday, February 10, 2006. Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Epperson of Waco. She is survived by her husband, Barton; their three children, Sally Cayzer of Denver, Suzann Farren of Dallas and Allen Darrow of Albuquerque. Other survivors include her brother, James Warner and wife, Billie of Waco; daughter-in-law, Lynette Darrow; son-in-law, Jay Cayzer; and grandchildren, Mollie Cayzer, Drew Darrow, Megan Ramirez and husband Albert and Elizabeth Farren. A graduate of Baylor University, Ann was active in the community, serving on the boards of Christina Kent Nursery, Friends of the Little Theater, Friends of Art, Junior League of Albuquerque, YMCA, YWCA and the Opera Guild. She was also a member of The Colonial Dames of America, New Mexico Chapter. As a member of First Presbyterian Church, she served as a Deacon. She particularly enjoyed playing golf with her nine-hole group at Albuquerque Country Club and of course playing cards with her dear friends in Bridge Club and Le Cadeaux. Her hobby was needle pointing and entertaining family and friends. She excelled at being a mother and her commitment to her family was second to none. Her family would like to thank the staff at The Montebello, First Presbyterian Church Deacons and Ministers, and her many friends for their loving care and thoughtfulness. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2006, 2:00 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NE, with Rev. Paul Debenport officiating.
