POSANSKI -- Robert J. Posanski, born October 6, 1919, died Friday, February 10, 2006, at a local nursing home. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years on February 15th, Caroline Posanski of the family home; daughter, Kathleen R. Dilorenzo and husband Charles of Albuquerque, NM; son, Robert J. Posanski, Jr. and wife Rebecca, of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Annette Dilorenzo-Thayer and husband Murray, David Dilorenzo and wife Kimberly, and Kimberly Posanski all of Albuquerque, NM; great-grandchildren, Madison and Thomas Dilorenzo both of Albuquerque, NM; also surviving is a brother Joseph Posanski and wife Eleanore, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Robert was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. After serving in the United States Army Aircore in Albuquerque as a medical nurse, he returned to Milwaukee and started his first bakery business, Carol's Bakery. He later became Commander of the Disabled American Veterans for two consecutive years. He was also active in the Amateur Radio Club in Wisconsin. Robert and Carol were avid bowlers in both Wisconsin and Sun City, AZ. They retired from Carol's Bakery in Albuquerque after 24 years, providing fantastic doughnuts and bread. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel.
