MONTOYA -- Soriada D. Montoya, age 91, passed away at home, surrounded by her family, Thursday, February 9, 2006. She was born in Wagon Mound, NM, lived in Las Vegas and resided in Bernalillo for the past 12 years. Soriada was preceded in death by her husband, Juan R. Montoya, and she is survived by her daughters, Agnes Montoya, Lucia Gutierrez and husband, Estevan; grandchildren, Rita Gutierrez and boyfriend, Andy Rodriguez, Elisa Vargas and husband, Martin and Estevan Gutierrez Jr.; sister, Genevieve Gonzales; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, NM, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2006. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST.
