BEDEAUX -- James M. Bedeaux, age 81, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, January 30, 2006, at a local care facility. He has been a resident of this area since 1935 and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1942. Mr. Bedeaux served our country in the Marine Corps during WWII and participated in the landings in the Marshall Islands. He was recalled to service during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Bedeaux was employed by Sandia Labs for 33 years and owned a local gunsmith shop in the North Valley. He is survived by his one daughter, Michele and her husband, Rhys Wetherill; one son, Roy and his wife, Martha Bedeaux; five grandchildren; one sister, Carol and husband, Larry Causey; one brother, Zane Bedeaux; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Bedeaux was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Mary M. Bedeaux in 2001; and his sister, Virginia White. A time of remembrance will be held Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Mr. Bedeaux's home.
