GORDON -- Judith Ann Gordon, a beautiful woman who touched many lives, passed away in her home on Friday, January 20, 2006, surrounded by family and friends. Born on October 17, 1944 to Daphne (Bobbe) Gordon and William T. Gordon, Judith was raised in St. Paul, NE. She was a graduate of Duchesne College in Omaha, NE, and held three Master's Degrees in education, special education, and counseling. Judith was a counselor and teacher for Albuquerque Public Schools for twenty years, and was most recently a fifth grade teacher at Collete Park Elementary School. Her Passion was to see children thrive through education and personal growth, and she gave her love and energy to that purpose. Judith volunteered for the Children's Grief Center of Albuquerque. She inspired and enriched others through her love, laughter, and deep and inquiring spiritual nature. Being a parent and grandmother were her greatest joys and achievements. She was known as "Grandma Bubbles" to her four grandchildren. Judith loved traveling, especially for family gatherings, attending her monthly book club, and was an avid Lady Lobos fan. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her mother; two children, Stephanie Zmroczek of Albuquerque and Duncan Plymate of Tacoma, WA; son-in-law, Ted Zmroczek; grandchildren, Hallie, Tori, and Will Zmroczek and Simon Plymate; siblings, Barney Gordon and wife, Nancy, Robin Gordon, Debbie Imes and her husband, Leonard, Bill Gordon and his wife, Nancy; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; sister, Victoria Whitcomb; brother, Robert Gordon; and grandparents. A visitation will be held at French Mortuary on Friday, January 27, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. There will be a Rosary and Remembrance Service at French Mortuary, at 7:00 p.m. on January 27, 2006, and a Mass at St. Bernadette Church on Indian School on Saturday, January 28, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. A Memorial Service will also be held at Duchesne Chapel at the Duchesne High School in Omaha, NE on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Children's Grief Center of Albuquerque, P.O.
