MARTINEZ -- MARK S. After a courageous battle with cancer, Mark S. Martinez died peacefully in his home on Saturday, January 14, 2006, to be with his Lord and Savior. Mark was born on November 18, 1955, and was a lifetime resident of Albuquerque. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann; daughter, Heather; son, Ryan; mother, Helen J. Martinez; step-father, Jim Pino; sister, Bernadine and husband, Rick Sandoval; sister-in-law, Jennifer Reed; special friends, Heidi and Dan Jensen; many aunts, uncles, cousins- and numerous friends. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Raul (Rudy) Martinez. He will always be remembered for his kind heart and out-going spirit. Mark loved the outdoors with a passion for fishing, softball, skiing, golf, and going to Corkins Lodge. He was a member of Calvary Chapel. Mark will be missed by all those whose lives he touched. He was the district manager for Distribution Plus, Inc. (DPI) which he loved and worked hard for. He was a loyal co-worker and friend. A special thank you goes out to Dave Kelley for his support and thoughtfulness during this time. Services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel, 4001 Osuna NE. A private ceremony will be held at a later date for the scattering of ashes.
