DAVIS -- John Kimball Davis, a resident of Los Lunas, NM and formerly Gallup, NM, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2006. He was a member of the Los Lunas Baptist Church. Kim worked for the U.S. Post Office for 30 years and was the Union Stewart and the State Vice President of the APWU. He was a runner for many years and ran in several marathons. He loved the outdoors and was an avid bird watcher. Kim and his family were raised on the Zuni Reservation where his father, John Davis, took a job with the Federal Aviation Administration in 1959. Even though Kim was a member of the Los Lunas Baptist Church for only two years, he immediately felt the love and compassion of its members and Pastor, Mike Sams. His relationship with his Lord and Savior blossomed into a wonderful and very personal relationship.
