ANDREWS -- Wilma R. Andrews, 83, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, January 7, 2006. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William "Bill" Andrews; daughters, Cynthia Collins and husband, Rick of Roswell and Lorinda Wilkins of Roswell. She was lovingly known as "Nan" by her six grandchildren, Christy, Kyle, Kelli, Scott, Aaron, and Royce; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Hugo Richter; sister, Helen Langley; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rudy Richter. She was a first grade teacher for over 40 years in New Mexico and Texas and retired from Alvarado Elementary School in 1984. Wilma was an active member in the Assistance League of Albuquerque. She was a loving wife and mother who loved her children, grandchildren, and students. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 431 Richmond Pl. NE, 87106. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made in Wilma's name to the Assistance League of Albuquerque, TLC Program, P.O. Box 35910, Albuquerque, 87110-9998.
