JASSO -- Rodolfo M. Jasso, 86, passed away peacefully at home with his family on Monday, January 2, 2006. Mr. Jasso was a decorated World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia C. Jasso and son, Rudy Jasso. Mr. Jasso is survived by his children, Virginia Chavez and husband, Lee, Mary D. Chavez and Ruben Jasso and wife, Pauline; sister, Maria Rachel Jasso; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Rosary for Mr. Jasso will be recited on Wednesday evening, January 4, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2006 also at Queen of Heaven Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Armando Diaz, Rene Diaz, Felix Diaz, Emilio Diaz, Ruben V. Jasso Jr., and Nathan Diaz. Honorary pallbearers will be Ramiro and Arnulfo Diaz.
