MADRIL -- Dionesia Madril, 88 a lifelong resident of Duran, NM died Monday, January 2, 2006 at her home following an illness. Mrs. Madril was born August 4, 1917 at Pinos Wells, NM to the home of Liberato Jaramillo and the former Mauricia Sanchez. She was reared and attended school at Pinos Wells. She married Guadalupe Madril on September 2, 1938 in Duran. She was a homemaker who loved quilting, cooking, and visits from her family. She was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Duran. Dionesia was preceded in death by her husband Guadalupe on September 29, 1995; her parents; an infant daughter Cornelia; a grandson Ambrosio Chavez; a great-grandson Chris Madril Jr.; three brothers Eliseo, Melquidez, and Filomeno Jaramillo; two sisters Juanita Rodarte and an infant sister Maria Jaramillo. She is survived by twelve children; seven daughters, Augustina Archibeque and husband Richard of Belen; Berna Encinias and husband Grable, Mary Gonzales and husband Billy of Clovis; Eloisa Marez and husband Richard of Albuquerque; Diane Mirabal and husband Michael Sr. of Tularosa; Joann Chavez and husband Margarito of Vaughn; and Norma Marez and husband Clario Sr. of Sedillo; five sons Samuel Madril and wife Andrea of Alamogordo; Jose Madril and wife Amelia of Clovis; Albert Madril and wife Cindy of Chaparral, NM; Pablo Madril of Albuquerque; and Johnny Madril and wife Lucy of Hobbs. Also surviving are 29 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Rosary services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2006 from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Duran; Mass of Christian Burial will be held from the church at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 4th with Father Jerry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Duran. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. All arrangements are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home 804 N.
