LYLE -- Janet Lyle, Born May 12, 1930, passed away December 24, 2005 after a full and fruitful life. She is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years H. Tom Lyle; children, Thom and Linda Lyle, Danny Joe and Linda Lyle, Steve Lyle, Pete and Christine Lyle, Jana and Paul Ortiz y Pino, Julie and Tony Pino, Rebecca Lyle and John Hartigan; grandchildren, Sean and Rene Lyle, Ewan and Marianne Lyle, Jeremiah, Ryan and Stephen Lyle, Joseph and Patrick Lyle, Jacob Ortiz y Pino, Jessica Ortiz y Pino and Stephen Martinez, Luke and Ben Ortiz y Pino, Lyle and Kim Pino and Curtis Pino, Zia Lyle and Teague Hartigan; Great Grandchildren: Joshua, Noah and Sarah Lyle, Carlitos, Emilio and Jacob Ortiz y Pino, Isaiah and Elijah Ortiz y Pino, and Josiah Martinez; sister, Henrietta Oder; brother and sister-in-law, David and Kristin Thomas; and many others who called her Ma, Grandma, sister, aunt, and best friend. She was a very loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. Janet was a founding donor of St. Pius X High School and was instrumental in raising money to start girls athletics at St. Pius, Past President of Home & School and Altar Rosary Society at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School and Church, Charter member of Casa Angelica Auxiliary, past president and Chaplain of American Legion Auxiliary Post 75, Jemez Springs, NM. She lead many troops of cub scouts and girl scouts, and was a great bread maker. Rosary and service will be held Thursday, December 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Albuquerque at the corner of Lomas and Tennessee. Memorials may be sent to Handmaids of the Precious Blood or Servants of the Paraclete, Jemez Springs, NM 87025.
