ROMERO -- RAMON N. Mr. Ramon N. Romero, devoted husband and father, and longtime Albuquerque resident, died Monday, December 26, 2005 at the age of 89. He is preceded in death by wife, Josephine Romero; two daughters, Therese Romero and Dolores Hernandez; and son-in-law, Edward Nelson. He is survived by his children, Jo Nelson, Richard Romero and wife, Jane, and Caroline Romero and husband, Alfonso; son-in-law, Joe Hernandez; grandchildren, Lori, Lee, Carri, Billi Jo, Joseph, Christopher, Marty, Denise, Adrian, Amy, Angelita, Alfonso Jr., Ramona and Carrie; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A Rosary for Mr. Romero will be recited on Thursday evening December 29, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2005 also at St. Charles where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park.
