PHILLIPS -- Miriam Norton Phillips was born on January 22, 1915 in Bristol, CT to Ruth and Harold Norton. Miriam passed away peacefully, in her sleep, on November 28, 2005 in Chico, CA. Miriam married her husband, Edwin R. Phillips in 1935. They were married 65 years, until Edwin's death. Most of those years were lived in their beloved Albuquerque. Annually they traveled to Mexico. They made many friends on "their beach" at Cabo San Lucas. She is survived by two children, Justin Phillips of Chico and Laurel Packer of Albuquerque; her two grandchildren, Trenton and Heather Packer; and her great-granddaughter, Kashmir Packer, also of Albuquerque. She is further survived by her sister, Ruth Collins of Greenville, SC.
