NOLAN -- George Fred Nolan, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters, died in Placerville, CA on Tuesday, November 29, 2005. George, a 30-year resident of Albuquerque, is survived by his wife, Bonnie and their daughters, Marcey Nolan and husband, Chris Daniel of Pennsylvania; Beth Paiz and husband, Ron of Albuquerque, and Katy Cardenas and husband, Tony of Albuquerque. George is also survived by his adoring grandchildren, Matthew, Mollie, Maggie, Alan, and Garrett. George was a graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy, class of 1963. George also graduated from the Post Naval Graduate School with a Master's Degree in Physics and went on to earn a Master's of Business Administration from UNM. After retiring from the Navy at the rank of Lt. Commander, George worked as a consultant on many projects during his career as a Nuclear Physicist. Bonnie Nolan will host a reception for George's family and friends at their home on Saturday, December 10, 2005 from 2 to 5 p.m.
