GUGGINO -- Marie Assunta Menaldi Guggino, 87, entered eternal life on Wednesday, November 28, 2005. She was born in Youngstown, OH, on Sunday, January 6, 1918, to Edward and Antionette Tisone Menaldi. She is survived by her children: Larry Guggino, Sr., and wife, Patty; Rita Guggino Ware, P. Mario Guggino, and Marc Guggino, Sr., and wife, Lisa. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack L. Guggino; her siblings, Arthur F. Menaldi, Beatrice Zileski, Edward Menaldi, Jr., Margaret Beastro; and her granddaughter, Jeanette Marie Ware. Marie's childhood was spent with her family in Portici, Italy. She graduated from Youngstown Business College and married Jack L. Guggino in 1939. In 1950 they moved to Albuquerque where Marie was active in Regina Coeli Parish and the Italian Women's Club. Service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary Chapel, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will precede the service Friday, December 2, 2005, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. French Mortuary 7212 Wyoming Blvd. NE (505) 823-9400
