HORNER -- David Elwyn Horner, of Rio Rancho, NM passed away Tuesday November 22, 2005. He was born June 18, 1930 In Detroit, Michigan. David grew up and was educated in the Detroit area. He joined the Army in 1947 and served his country for 22 years, retiring from the Army in 1969. He returned to Michigan and worked for the State of Michigan where he retired in 1995. He had been in Albuquerque with family for the past nine years. Survived by daughter, Betsy Lovato and her husband, Edward of Rio Rancho, NM; son, David A. Horner and his wife, Conny of Moglingen, Germany; grandchildren, Elaine Lovato, Edward Lovato, Franziska Horner, Patrik Horner and Tom Horner. He was preceded in death by his parents. Per David's request there will be no services. Friends and family may visit on Sunday November, 27, 2005 from 3:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. at French Mortuary Chapel - Westside Chapel.
