HARDEKOPF -- Celia M. Hardekopf, 57, a resident of Albuquerque passed away Sunday, October 16, 2005 following a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jim; children Christopher of Albuquerque, Ben of Austin, TX and Laura and husband Paul Rucker and son Clark of Belen; mother, Sarah Mullane and sisters, Carolyn Price and Kathy Romine; and brother Jim Mullane all of Florida. Celia was a wonderful and devoted wife and mother, enthusiastic and cheerful. She loved people and teaching. Celia was a Navy spouse and taught in various places prior to moving to Albuquerque in 1992. She earned her doctorate in education from the University of NM in 1997. She was a loving and giving person and will greatly missed. In her last years she faced her chronic debilitating illness with bravery and determination. Memorial service will be Saturday, October 22, 2005, 10:00 a.m. at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper Rd, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111. French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE 275-3500
