SALAZAR -- John P. Salazar, 59, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at a local hospital. He was born January 5, 1946 in Albuquerque to Beltran and Lola Salazar. He is survived by his daughter, Natahsha D. Salazar; son, Che Jonathan Salazar, both of Washington; granddaughter, Jaden Marie; four sisters, Rosalie Juarez of Idaho, Martie Burns and husband, Chuck of Colorado, Edwina Valdez and Kathy McDonald, both Albuquerque; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Salazar was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Raul and Andrew "Porfie". He attended Calvary Assembly of God Church. John was an avid runner. He didn't know a stranger, loved life and the Lord. Services will be held Saturday, October 8, 2005, at 1:00 p.m., at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 5331 Montano NW. Cremation will follow services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to Calvary Assembly of God Church, 5331 Montano NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87120.
