BACA -- Rafaelita Baca, 75, of Albuquerque, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, October 5, 2005. She was born on September 2, 1930 in Socorro, NM to Gregorio and Vedelia Maria Baca. She was preceded in death by her brother, Severo Baca. She is survived by her five daughters, Mary Bouchard and husband, Ronald Sr., Sophie Tavasci and husband, Dan, Bert Rivera and husband, Joe, Lucy Trujillo and husband, Edward, Patricia Willis and husband, Daniel; nine grandchildren, Barb Rivera, Ron Bouchard, Jr., Christopher Bouchard, Vedelia Trujillo-Hoey, Lori Baca, Quito Canon, Danny Tavasci, Jr., Nicole Canon, and Zachary Willis; and nine great-grandchildren, Layla, Shanell, Keely, Amberly, Jaydrick, Angelique, Izayah, Cameron, and Hayden; and brothers, Jose Elias Baca and Rafael Baca. Rafaelita was a devoted Christian and a strong witness for Jesus Christ. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, cooking, crocheting, and traveling throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Rafaelita's greatest joy was to be around her family, which was very important to her. She will be greatly missed and loved, but never forgotten. Pallbearers will be Joe Rivera, Daniel Willis, Ron Bouchard, Jr., Chris Hoey, Quito Canon, Danny Tavasci, Jr., and Zachary Willis. The Memorial Service will be held at Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE on Friday, October 7, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. with a viewing at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Service of Christian Burial will be held at First Family Church, 4701 Wyoming Blvd. NE on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing at 10:00 a.m. A Memorial Graveside Service will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
