FEERY -- FRANK JOSEPH. Mr. Frank Joseph Feery, aged 90, of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2005 at his home. He was born October 7, 1914 in Hartford, CT to Francis J. and Edith M. (Johnson) Feery. He married Viola M. Scheri on October 13, 1940 in Chicago, IL. Mr. and Mrs. Feery have made Albuquerque their residence since 1947, moving from Rhode Island. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Navy with Naval duties in Pearl Harbor and Guadalcanal. He was a former electrical engineer with Sandia Labs retiring in 1972 after 25 years of service. Following retirement he enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his family. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Viola M. Feery of Albuquerque; two daughters, Janette Denton of Modesto, CA and Joyce Roberson of Albuquerque; four sons: J. Patrick and his wife, Cindy Feery, James Andrew Feery, Jerome W., his fiance, Donna Chavez, and Michael E. and his wife, Christi Feery, all of Albuquerque; fifteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Francis Joseph Feery in February of 1967; also two sisters; and two brothers. Funeral Services for Mr. Feery will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at French Mortuary University Chapel with interment at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in Santa Fe National Cemetery. A Memorial will be held on Tuesday October 4, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation with the family at 6:00 p.m. at French Mortuary University Chapel. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
