HAYGOOD -- Charles Robert Haygood, a resident of Rio Rancho for 13 years, died September 30, 2005. He was the son of Orien Haygood and Louise Gibson. He was married for 22 years to Mary Quintana Haygood who survives him. He worked as a salesman for Firestone Tires. He was a member for 41 years of the Masonic Temple No. 6. A member of the Fishing Club of Rio Rancho, he also enjoyed camping and the company of his family and friends. He was a true "people person." Along with his wife, Mary of Rio Rancho, Charles is survived by: his sons and their wives, David Haygood and Donna and Chuck Haygood, all of Albuquerque, Steve Montoya and Frances of Sena, NM; daughters, Sandra and David Johnston of Los Lunas, NM, Debra and Frank Duran of Rio Rancho; brother, Marvin Haygood and wife, Mabel of Indiana; and sister, Barbara Justice of Los Alamos, NM; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Vista Verde Mortuary Chapel, 4310 Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln. in Rio Rancho. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, 11 a.m., in Vista Verde Chapel. Arrangements by Vista Verde Memorial Park and Mortuary, 892-9920.
