DANOFF -- Armida C. Danoff passed away Friday, September 16, 2005, with her family at her side at the family home. She was born October 7, 1918 and raised in Gallup, NM, a graduate of Gallup High School, an active officer and member of several civic and community organizations for the first seventy years of her life in Gallup. For the past 17 years, she has lived with her daughter and her family in Cowan Heights, CA. Preceded in death in 1988 by her husband, Isadore H. Danoff, a prominent Gallup businessman, she is survived by her daughter, Pamela S. Danoff-Kraus; son-in-law, Robert W. Kraus; and granddaughter, Jillian Amaris Kraus, all of Cowan Heights, CA; a brother-in-law, Hyman Danoff, Albuquerque; a sister-in-law, June Danoff, Tucson, AZ; a niece, Kerry Danoff, Atlanta, GA; three nephews, Michael Danoff (Margo), Albuquerque; Robert Danoff (Eve), Paradise Valley, AZ, and Eric Danoff (Barbara), Piedmont, CA; seven grandnephews; a cousin, Josephine Del Curto, Gallup; and numerous other family members. A Rosary and Eulogies will be held Friday, September 23, 2005, 7:00 p.m., Rollie Mortuary Chapel, Gallup. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 24, 2005, 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cathedral. She will be buried at Sunset Memorial Park. Pall Bearers are Michael Danoff, Robert Danoff, Louis Danoff, Troy Danoff, Ryan Danoff, and Lidio Rainaldi Jr. Honorary Pall Bearers are Hyman Danoff, Brett Danoff, Max Danoff, Sam Danoff, Lidio Rainaldi Sr. and Fred Melton. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Rollie Mortuary, Gallup. Memorial donations to a personal charity of choice are requested in lieu of flowers by the family. She was an "angel amongst us" who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
