Stan is survived by his wife, Marlene (Chavez) Burns of their home in Lemitar, NM; children: Amy McKay of Des Moines, IA; Lynn Bourn and husband, Keith of Norfolk, NB; Cari Scholl and husband, Mark of Lemitar, NM; and Shad Burns of Tampa, FL; step-children: Robert Olguin and Barbara Olguin of Socorro, NM; Roberta Carter and husband, Derrick of Lynn Haven, FL; and Jennie Montoya of Silver City, NM; brothers: Roger Burns and wife, Jolene of Essex, IA; and Lonnie Burns and wife, Donna of Hoskins, NB; sister, Myrna Vonasek and husband, Virgil of Niobrara, NB; six grandchildren; and five step-children. Visitation will be Thursday, September 22, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Steadman-Hall Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at the Good Shepherd Luthern Church in Niobrara, NB. Burial will be in the L'Eau Qui Court Cemetery in Niobrara, NB. Pallbearers are Alan Brawley, Richard McEntire, Danny Monette, Larry Fagan, Art Brown and Mick Chavez. Honorary Pallbearers are David Griego and Mark Scholl. Arrangements are under the care of Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM.
