BYARS -- Victoria Lee Byars, 47, of Taos, formerly of Cerro, passed away on September 10, 2005. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Louis B. Gomez; grandfather, Estevan Gomez; uncle, Joe Gomez; and cousin, Abel Gomez, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Dion C. Gallegos Locke (Kurt) of Albuquerque; sons, Daniel Johnathon Martinez of Albuquerque, Julian Romero of Taos; mother, Kathleen A. Gomez of Cerro; grandmother, Eva Gomez of Cerro; grandson, Jesse Daniel Locke; brother, Joe Richard Gomez (Isabel); and sister, Louann Bridges. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, other relatives and many friends. There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, September 16, 2005 at 12 noon at Antonio Road in Questa.
