CANDELARIA -- BOBBY F. Mr. Bobby F. Candelaria, 65, a resident of Albuquerque, went to be home with the Lord on August 29, 2005, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Candelaria was born July 6, 1940 and raised in Albuquerque. His personal life was dedicated to his wife, Dolores (Dee Dee) of 43 years, his family, relatives, friends and his church. Mr. Candelaria is survived by his children, Diana Candelaria, Rosalie Ramirez and husband, Charles, JoAnn Stratton and husband, Monty, Roque Candelaria and wife, Anna, Josie Chavez and husband, Gil; one sister, Sister Maria I. (Josie) Candelaria, O.P.; one brother, LeRoy Candelaria and wife, Bella; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters-in-law, Carmen Cohen, Theresa Allen and husband, Kevin; special friends, Trini Sena and Lee Romero; one aunt, Emma Candelaria; one uncle, Leo Archibeque; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Candelaria was preceded in death by his parents, Roque and Isabel Candelaria; two sisters, Anna Maria Candelaria and Rosalia Candelaria. Mr. Candelaria retired five years ago from G.E. after 20 years of employment. He took pride in his garden, enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling and playing cards. He possessed a unique combination of immense generosity and good humor. He endured life's tragedies with courage, dignity and faith in the Lord. He is loved by many and will be deeply missed. Mr. Candelaria was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Mr. Candelaria will be Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Doris Nunez. A final visitation will be Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father John Rebold. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carlos Ramirez, Nickolas Ramirez, Robert Candelaria, Steven Candelaria, Trini Sena and Lee Romero. Honorary pallbearers will be Mallory Stratton, Rebecca Stratton, Jacqui Chavez, Marissa Felix, Christina Ramirez and DeAnna Chavez.
