SHUGHART -- John P. "Johnny" Shughart passed away Thursday, August 25, 2005 in Albuquerque at the age of 76. He was born April 23, 1929 in Cumberland County, PA. He married Mabel Harbold on December 3, 1949. They farmed in Pennsylvania until 1958 when they moved their family to Albuquerque. Johnny worked road construction for Joe Hastings and Don Hastings until 1970 when he started Johnny's Pumping Service. He was the owner-operator for 25 years and retired in 1995. Johnny and Mabel celebrated 55 years of marriage last December. Johnny is survived by his wife, Mabel; their two children, Linda Kay Condrey of Farmington, NM and Terry Lee Shughart and wife, Mary of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Kelli Lee Condrey of Irvine, CA and John W. and Christopher T. Condrey of Farmington, NM; step-grandson, Mike Shughart of Wisconsin; and two brothers, Nevin C. and Larry D. Shughart of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his brother, Willis Shughart and sister, Evelyn Kilmore. Services will be held Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel.
