MAESTAS -- David J. Maestas, 44, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 26, 2005. David is survived by his wife, Carol Torres; his beloved mother, Priscilla Maestas; a daughter, April Trujillo and husband, Derrick; eight sisters, Katharine Gutierrez and husband, Jerry, Susan Anaya and husband, Bobby, Linda Armijo and husband, Chris, Frances Aragon and husband, Eloy, Patsy Javaheripour and husband, Farhad, Vicky Maestas and Ernest Romero, Evelyn Maestas and Robert Selfridge, Renee Hogan and Joe Fulton; four brothers, Jacob Maestas Jr., Anthony Maestas and Arlene, Edward Maestas and Stephanie, Joseph Maestas and Diane; one grandson, Jacob Trujillo; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. David was preceded in death by his father, Jacob Maestas and a brother, Richard Maestas. David was a member of the Catholic Church and he was a wonderful man with a big heart who loved his family. A visitation for David will be Monday afternoon in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A visitation will be Monday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Santuario de San Martin Catholic Church, 8301 Camino San Martin SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Gabriella Nieto. A final visitation will be Tuesday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at San Martin Church with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father John. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Maestas, Lorenzo Aragon, Michael Maestas, Walter Martinez, David Pacheco, Tony Silva, Eloy Aragon Jr. and Josh Martinez.
