GARFIELD -- Duane R. Garfield, 77, an Albuquerque resident since 1963, died Monday, August 8, 2005. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Garfield of Albuquerque; son, Rand Garfield and wife, Pam of Corrales, NM; daughters, Leslie Gaudet and husband, Jack of Southbridge, VA, Gail Garfield of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Chelsey and Nicole Garfield both of Corrales, NM, Angela Wallace and husband, Frank Ramirez of Albuquerque, Joshua Gaudet, Jacqueline Gaudet, and Melissa Gaudet, all of Southbridge, VA; great-grandchildren, Trey, Carlos and Marcos Ramirez, Trinity Berry, and Hailey Gaudet; sister, Nancy Amend and husband, Dale of Albuquerque; brothers, Wilbur Garfield and wife, Marguerite of Ft. Collins, CO, Larry Garfield and wife, Mary of Stewartville, MN. Mr. Garfield retired from the civil engineering department at the University of NM. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 15, 2005 at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd Chapel.
