CANDELARIA -- Feliciana "Mary" Candelaria, 82, joined her beloved husband "Jerry" on August 9, 2005. She was born on February 28, 1923 in San Marcial, NM to Augustina and Leandro Garcia. She was one of eight children, and as a young child, she and her family moved to Southeast Albuquerque. In the mid 40s, Mary met her soul mate, Jerry, and they were married and had two daughters, Gloria and Shirley. Together they enjoyed camping, fishing, poker, slot machines, and spending time with their family. Her beloved Jerry preceded her in death in 1991. She is also predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Procopio, Benny, Libra, and John Garcia; her sisters, Adelina Vivian and Tommie Garcia. She is survived by her girls, Gloria Candelaria and husband, Byron Congleton, and Shirley Sturtcman and husband, Russ; three granddaughters, Krista Mireles and husband, Jose, Michele Lucero and husband, Javier, and Jill Congleton. She was blessed with one great-grandson, Lucas Anthony Lucero. Other survivors include her brother, Vicente Garcia; niece, Becky Garcia; and many family members and friends whom she loved. Her life will be celebrated in a Rosary Service on Thursday, August 11, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel. Funeral Mass will be recited on Friday, August 12, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande 5901 St. Josephs Dr. NW. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menual Blvd. NE French Mortuary 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW (3 blocks N. of Paseo del Norte) (505) 897-0300
