ROMERO -- Joe "MAX" Romero age 75 November 11, 1929 - July 17, 2005 Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather was called home on July 17, 2005. His beloved wife, Rumie Romero of fifty-one years preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, JoAnn Armijo husband, Pete, Anthony Romero wife, Joyce, Roberta Garcia husband, Wayne, David Romero wife, Emmie, and Charles Romero wife, Julie. He is survived by 14 grandchildren, Pete A. Armijo, Brandy Ramirez husband, Sal, John Romero wife, Sandy, Armand Romero, and Mariah Romero, Chris Garcia, Heather Garcia, Crystal Romero, Nycole Valdez, Jennifer Romero, Casey Romero, Max Romero, Felecia Romero, Alex Romero; and three great-grandchildren, Danika Romero, Arianna Romero and Julian Trujillo; and two surviving sisters, Fillie Rubio and Amelia Velasquez. Max graduated from Tucumcari High School in 1948 and was inducted into the United States Army where he received the Korean Service Medal with the Bronze Service Star. The family will be having a gathering at his home on Sunday July 24, 2005 at 3:00 p.m.
