PETERSON -- John Edward Peterson May 13, 1948 - Dawn, June 24, 2005 Passed peacefully into the Light after a valiant 18 month struggle with brain cancer. Born in San Francisco; many years in Prescott and Tucson, AA; the last 7 years in the East Mountains of Albuquerque. John was an extraordinary man - very loving, compassionate and generous; a profoundly spiritual man of many talents: Art Curator at SBCC and KiMo Art Galleries, Exhibits Director of Tucson Childrens Museum, Artist, Poet, Visionary, Artisan, Builder, Sculptor, Gardener, Inventor, Alternative Energy Advocate and Recycler, Overall Handy Man and self-proclaimed American Rebel. John is survived and dearly missed by Connie Mazzella - spouse; Aaron Peterson - son; Candyce and Ken Howard - sister and spouse; Cristina Archibald - niece; Ray and Donna Peterson - uncle and aunt; Susan Peterson - ex-wife and mother of Aaron; and numerous beloved friends and co-workers.
