MILLER -- Harvey Mathias Miller Jr., 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1955 passed away peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2005. He was born on July 25, 1924 in York, PA. Harvey is survived by his daughters, Lisa Marie Cook and husband, Gregory of Kansas City, MO and Ami DiGregorio and husband, Michael of Albuquerque. Also surviving are his granddaughters, Danielle DiGregorio, Katelyn and Amanda Cook, and many special friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Eleanor Lillie Miller; his parents, Harvey and Sadie Miller; and his sister, Clara Marie Miller. Harvey was a member of The United States Air Force from 1943 to 1965. He was a fighter pilot with 499th Fighter Squadron and received the National Defense Service Medal and Commendation Ribbon. He was a graduate of Gettysburg College and received a BA in Physics. Harvey was president of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and a member of Sigma Pi Sigma National Honorary Physics Society. He was employed with Sandia National Laboratories as a Nuclear Physicist from 1955 to 1982. He was a member of the Sandia Roadrunners RV Club and Sandia Thunderbirds. Harvey was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A Memorial Rosary will be recited Thursday, June 23, 2005 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 24, 2005, 9:00 a.m., at The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Mt.
