LORD -- Isobel Herzstein Lord of Albuquerque died June 10, 2005 at home. She was 95. She was born in Clayton, NM, the daughter of Simon and Maud Herzstein. The Simon Herzsteins settled in Clayton in 1901. Isobel and her late husband, D. K. Lord lived in Nara Visa where they suffered the tragic loss of two children to streptococcal pharyngitis Their daughter, Sharon Lord, was born in Clayton in 1940. The family left the state in 1945, returning in 1956 to settle in Albuquerque. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon, of Albuquerque; a niece, Linda Schwarz of San Francisco; and three nephews, David Herzstein of Albuquerque, Sigmund E. Herzstein Jr. of Cambridge, MA and Robert E. Herzstein of Washington, D.C.
