TOCCO-GRIFFIS -- Margaret Vivian Tocco-Griffis, born November 3, 1917 in Aden, IL passed away on June 13, 2005. Margaret was preceded in death by her father, John Battista Tocco and mother, Gertrude Hall-Tocco. Mrs. Griffis is survived by her husband of 47 years, Billy Duane Griffis; daughter, Peggy Cox; sons, Thomas I. McDaniel and John Russell Swatzell; ten grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Margaret was a longtime resident of Sandia Park. She was a visiting teacher for the Mormon Church, and a Los Lunas Ward homemaking leader. She was an assistant genealogy librarian for the Mormon Church. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Edgewood Mormon Ward. Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery Barton New Mexico.
